N.W.AのFuck The Policeです。名前だけでも聞いたことがあるのでは？ちょっと前にレンタル開始したStraight Outta ComptonというN.W.Aの成り立ちから最後までを描いた映画にもこの曲が大きくフューチャーされてましたね。ライブ前に地元警察にこの曲を歌うのを禁止されていたのに歌って逮捕されたというのは有名だと思います。
ヒップホップということで言い回しに詰まるところがたくさんありましたが、一番困ったのは
Still getting swoll off bread and water
というアイスキューブの歌詞です。Swoll offの意味がわからず、検索しても曖昧な意味しか出て来ず、結局1番これが無難だろうなという訳にしましたが、未だにこれはどう伝えればいいのかわからずじまいです。やさしい方誰か教えてくれると幸いです。
